I have a udStream account, can I use that to access udCloud?

Currently, you will need to create a new account for udCloud. An update to migrate existing udStream accounts is in the works. You may contact support@euclideon.com for more information.

Can I host my existing .uds files in udCloud?

Yes! Simply upload your UDS models files to udCloud and you are good to go.

Can I share my datasets with other people?

Yes! You can easily set each individual Project to be accessible to the public, or to allow access only via invite.

Do my clients/customers need an account to view my datasets?

Yes, but your customers can simply register instantly for a free account..

How much storage can I get as a free user?

Free users are entitled to have up to 15GB of stored data. Once over the limit, you must delete some data before you can upload more, alternatively you can sign up to our Pay as you go plan and get access to unlimited data storage. Visit www.euclideon.com/udCloud/#Prices for more information. 

Is conversion different in udCloud from udStream? What file types are supported?

Conversion with udStream and udCloud is pretty much the same, including supported file formats. The main advantage of udCloud conversion however is that:

  1. The conversion will be done in the cloud, removing the hardware requirements as well ensuring the highest possible quality is done on your models,
  2. The models are directly stored into the cloud, allowing you to free up space on your local and network drives, and
  3. The models are directly accessible via our browser-based viewers, including the udStream browser as well as custom UDS renderers
